Gangnam Style Hype

30 Nov

The hype of Gangnam Style is getting to the point of insanity! This catchy song has dominated music charts all over the world, competing with popular singers like Pink, The Script, Taylor Swift and even Fun. The official YouTube video has more than 284 million views.

Since his debut, Psy was known as an electro-pop singer. His music style was always somewhat different from the usual either bright or sad (love story-related) music. Because he maintained this unique style for over 10 years, now it had a chance to shine!

To add on my opinion, Gangnam Style is popular because of its funny dance, catchy Korean lyrics (“Oppa, Gangnam Style” isn’t too difficult to pronounce) and, of course, Psy’s presence with his somewhat ridiculous outfit and style. Instead of trying to look pretty or handsome as most other K pop stars, he wasn’t afraid to speak Korean and be himself.

Fashion Winter 2012/2013

29 Nov

The fashion-Winter 2012/2013 is opulent: Jewel tones, Crystal Applications, velvet, brocade and quilting structures waiting to be used in cold weather.

For those who mourn after the summer  2012, create trends like pastel colors, flowers and lace prints an extra round – but with a bit more drama. If it is colorful, the whole thing culminates in wild pattern-mixing. In addition, the skirts are getting longer. They range mostly to the knee. Shoes from the finest leather, with lace, chiffon ruffles, fur and paint details conquer the winter season 2012/2013.

She began working on the fantastic album when she was eleven years old. The first release single from ‘Our Version Of Events’ was ‘Heaven’. The song charted at number-two on the UK Singles Charts. ‘Next to me’ was the third single released, which became a global hit. Entering the UK Singles Chart at number-two and the Irish Singles Charts at number-one.

Sandé wrote every Track on the Album by herself. Every Song tells a little story of her life. Beside the released Tracks ‘Heaven’ and ‘Next to me’ it includes 16 other emotional songs which are really worth to hear. I heard the Album a hundred times but I still love it.

Rihanna – Unapologetic

28 Nov

Its her seventh album in seven years. With ‘Unapologetic’ Rihanna, the hardest working woman in the Popmusic business, breaks all her records. Rihanna executively produced the album and enlisted previous collaborators David Guetta, Chase & Status and StarGate to work alongside new collaborators such as Mike Will and Labrinth.

‘Diamonds’, the lead single from ‘Unapologetic’, is a typical Rihanna ballad, underscoring her soulful vocal with electronic pulses. It doesn’t pack the punch of Rihanna’s other hit singles, but the orchestral swells that build with her performance are a nice touch. ‘Nobody’s Business’ mixes Chicago stepping and house styles, featuring strings, piano and a for-on-the-floor kick drum. Rihanna self said that the lyrics of the song show “basically the way she look at everything regarding her personal life’. The Song ‘Right Now’ produced by David Guetta is a feel-good anthem for long club nights.

Sonically, the album combines the genres of pop, EDM and dubstep.
